In our Pre-Kindergarten program, we have fun preparing students to enter Kindergarten! In Pre-K, we read stories, build projects, make art, tour the building to learn all the different parts of a school, and so much more! One time, the Independence Fire Department came to the school to help mount a new flag to the flag pole, so we took a trip outside to meet the firemen and watch the fire truck at work!
At this age level, there is often a wide variety of classroom readiness and academic progress. The school's high teacher-to-student ratio ensures that every student has the attention he/she needs to succeed and be ready for Kindergarten the next year!
