During a student's high-school years at CPRS, we place a focus on career readiness and spiritual maturity. Students in Grades 9-12 have access to career programs like Summit Technology Academy and Herndon Career Center; advanced classes covering a range subjects, both academic and career-focused; and regular opportunities for service in both the community and the church.
The high school program at CPRS consists of grades 9th-12th. All students have an 8-period day, with block scheduling on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We find this scheduling allows for more opportunities in the classroom.
Our academic program at CPRS is designed to prepare students for continued achievement following graduation. The foundations that students receive here enable them to excel in their chosen field, whether their plans include higher education, technical schools, or entering the workforce. We desire to equip students with the skills necessary to excel in society and assist in the establishment of God's Kingdom on Earth through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
CPRS is a Missouri-accredited A+ school. All high school students who qualify can earn scholarship monies to cover tuition and general fees at participating 2-year schools.
Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS) is the standardized testing we use for grades kindergarten through 9th grade. 10th-11th grade participate in the Pre-ACT, and 11th-12th may sign up to take the ACT through a local testing site.
